The DJI Mic 3 is an easy-to-use, fully wireless digital microphone and recording system that allows content creators of all levels to improve audio quality in videos, interviews, and live streams. With its compact design, it is compatible with DSLR/mirrorless cameras or iOS/Android smartphones, recording subject audio clearly and reliably. The mini clip-on omnidirectional microphone/transmitter units offer both wireless transmission and backup recording capabilities. The small receiver can be mounted on a camera or connected directly to a mobile device or computer via USB-C. After simple setup, quality audio recording can begin in seconds.

High-Quality Audio and Post-Production Flexibility
The compact receiver can be connected to a camera via a 3.5mm TRS port and adapter cable. It can also connect to compatible mobile devices thanks to the USB-C adapter. Timecode input and output enhance video and audio synchronization. Transmitter units embed timecode data into internal recording files. Dual file recording provides both an original and an algorithm-enhanced audio file. 32-bit float and Lossless Audio modes offer more control over audio.

Adaptive Gain Control
Adaptive control over audio recording is provided with two different gain modes. Auto mode prevents clipping even during loud interventions. Dynamic mode adjusts gain according to the audio level, resulting in a more consistent recording.

Audio Presets and Two-Level Noise Cancellation
Three audio presets (normal, rich, bright) allow for tonal adjustment according to preference. The two-level noise cancellation system reduces ambient noise; basic mode reduces low-frequency continuous sounds (fan, air conditioning), while powerful mode is designed for noisy environments.

Easy Control
Parameters such as gain, battery status, and mode can be adjusted and viewed via the 1.1" AMOLED touchscreen and the dial on the receiver. System settings can be further customized and firmware updates easily performed with the DJI Mimo app.

Flexible Channel Settings
The receiver can record in mono or stereo mode. In quadraphonic mode, four separate audio channels are output with selected Sony cameras and computer software. The system includes two transmitters and one receiver, but the receiver supports up to four transmitters simultaneously and can be synchronized with seven additional receivers.

Dual-Band Wireless and Bluetooth Connectivity
Wireless frequency hopping in the 2.4 and 5.8 GHz bands allows for transmission up to 400 m. Bluetooth 5.4 provides connectivity with mobile devices. Transmitter units are directly compatible with DJI Osmo 360, Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4, and Osmo Action 3 cameras.

Long Battery Life and Charging Case
Built-in batteries in the receiver and transmitter units provide all-day use. Energy-saving features such as automatic sleep mode, automatic shutdown, and simultaneous mobile device charging extend battery life. The built-in charging case stores all units and extends the system's total battery life to up to 28 hours.
